D-Fuse is a collaboration between matali crasset, industrial designer, and Jori Hulkkonen, dj.
Beyond the hypnotic daydream, D-Fuse reveals how the work of matali crasset serves a renewed conception of design. With no artifice she abolishes the boundaries between shapes, object, function and space; a simple drawn circle is the starting point of a series of metamorphosis and thus by displacement in the dimensions of time, space and sound becomes a colour, a light, a tone, a wave. If one may enjoy recognizing such famous object she designed, one is above all invited to take part in a continuous walk that originates from the organic, incorporates the individual and the urban landscape and is propagated by capillarity.
The title D-Fuse evokes jointly the course of the sound wave recurring in the film, an open project rich in possibilities, and the interdependence between all the elements at stake. This film proposes an immersion into a living universe, where the close and the far are one single entity, and that is constantly throbbing and diffusing.

Jori Hulkkonen is one of the leading artists of the label F Com, on which he signed five albums. Guest DJ in the largest clubs of the world, recognized compositor, he made himself the defender of both dance and melancholy music. He goes over from explosive hits, cut out for the dance floor, to pieces favouring the melody and the spleen. Both faces of his personality come together in the latest album: Dualizm (F Com).
