Jean Charles Blais is at the origin of this
concept.
These works are an unprecedented
experience for the artists who create them specially for the collection,
with the intention to make them accessible to all. The DVD as a medium
allows to multiply the originals without spoiling the work.
These works are conceived to adapt to all formats, projection or screen,
not narrative, like a canvas that you start when slipping into a dvd
player.
The Fonds National d’Art Contemporain
has just acquired the collection.
Looping by Mrzyk & Moriceau received the award « le livre et l’art » 2005
that rewards the best art edition of the year.
Mrzyk & Moriceau had also received the Prix ALTADIS ARTS PLASTIQUES 2005

The works of the collection have been
shown in prestigious institutions such as the Palais de Tokyo, the Mamco,
the Mamac, etc.
A great number of media libraries already diffuse the dvd'art to their
